I was doing a timelapse in Shenzhen today in front of a video billboard and saw this 15 times. Kinda bummed when I got back to the hotel and heard the voice over though.
Last year’s go forth ad too, not the best voice over either.
This Korean Levi’s ad, is a kind of interesting approach, can’t say i watched the whole thing though.

A small excerpt from a documentary I was commissioned to make in Dimen, located in the largely rural province of Guizhou in Southern China.

Dimen is home to over 500 households of the Dong minority, daily life is lived similarly to how it was 100 years ago, however with the process of urbanization the majority of young people leave the town to work in the larger cities and the traditions of the Dong people are in danger of being lost.

One of the most different and remote places I’ve ever been to, a 3 hour flight from Shanghai, then 5 hours out into the mountains. Was lucky enough to get to spend 6 days here shooting, was a really great experience.

I’ve been meaning to post this ever since I started the blog. I got sent this video in an email Christmas card. I remember thinking how ‘now’ it was/is. Great work from Nicolo Bianchino.

Looking at some of his older stuff, he’s done. Takes me back to the good old days where I made one of my first things with the smithdogg. With a whopping 31 views in 3 years, at least 3 of them were mine, get on it now so you can say you were the first. Actually.

It’s not easiest thing to film “cool people” being “cool”. These ASOS videos nail it though. These French dudes make looking cool, look pretty cool. This is by far one of the “uncoolest” things I’ve written, but if you’ve had to make one, you know what I mean.
